Amanda Oakden

Background

Amanda Oakden began her career at AFG Law in 2015. Amanda is currently a CILEx Paralegal in AFG LAW’s Family Department.

Amanda has a Level 3 Professional Diploma in Law and Practice and is currently completing her Level 6 Diploma in Law and Practice with CILEX, to become a Chartered Legal Executive specialising in Family Law.

Amanda won the award for Training Lawyer of the Year with the Bolton Law Society in 2022. Amanda also won the Community Champion Award at the Resolution Awards in 2024, which recognises the charity work Amanda has been involved in within the Greater Manchester area and her commitment to giving back to her local community, and helping those who are vulnerable.

Services Provided

Amanda has a keen passion for family law and helping families in need. She is currently developing her knowledge and experience with a variety of family law matters, which include divorce and finance, PLO, care, special guardianship orders, child arrangements, and domestic abuse. She is highly commended for her proactiveness in her cases to resolve matters as swiftly as possible, as well as her empathy towards her clients and ability to explain matters in an unequivocal way.
